We collect only what you type. The enquiry form on this site has seven fields — name, email, company, country, product interest, target quantity and your requirements message — and the email you send to sales@ems-uqd.com carries whatever you choose to attach, typically a PDF drawing, a STEP file or photographs of an existing coupling. We do not run advertising trackers, and the site sets no marketing cookies; the hosting layer may keep standard delivery logs like any web server.
Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered to our inbox by a third-party form transport service (formsubmit.co), which exists to move the message, not to read it. The message is then handled by the DryLink sales and engineering team in Shenzhen, China. We use enquiry data to answer your question, prepare the quotation, and support the order that may follow. There is no profiling, no automated decision-making, and no sale or rental of contact data to anyone.
How long we keep it depends on what it turns into. An enquiry that never becomes an order is kept only as long as the conversation is live. Order records live longer, for a practical reason: OCP UQD parts carry a specified storage life of 15 years and a service life of 20 years, so the batch paperwork — leak values, flow checks, material certificates, RoHS and REACH declarations — has to stay retrievable for as long as the parts you bought could be on a shelf or in a rack. If you ask us to delete correspondence that never became an order, we will.
Third parties touch your data only where the job requires it: the form transport service described above, and — once an order ships — the freight forwarder or carrier named by your trade term. On FOB your own forwarder receives the export handover; on CIF or DDP the carrier receives the shipping details needed to move and clear the goods. Nobody in that chain receives your enquiry history or your drawings. If you request a compliance statement before ordering — REACH Article 33 communication duty applies to substances of very high concern present above 0.1% w/w — we answer from our own records, not by forwarding your details anywhere.
To access, correct or delete the data you have sent us, email sales@ems-uqd.com from the address you used originally. We respond within the same 48-hour window we promise for quotations.
The ground rules behind a quote.
Quotations. Send a drawing, a photo or a written description of the loop and you get a written answer within 48 hours: a priced quote stating size class, quantity, lead time and test scope, or the specific questions that produce one. Standard coupling sets carry an MOQ of 50 pieces; custom manifolds are quoted per drawing behind a 48-hour DFM review. A quotation is valid for the period stated on its face, and ordering against it — by purchase order and confirmed proforma invoice — binds both sides to those numbers, not to anything summarized on this website.
Lead time and shipping. Standard UQDB and UQ04 sets dispatch in 15 days from order confirmation, that window including the full test sequence and documentation pack; custom manifolds run 30–45 days after the drawing freezes. Trade terms are FOB, CIF or DDP: on CIF the cargo is insured at 110% of invoice value under ICC(C) clauses, and on DDP goods arrive duty-paid at your door. Title and risk pass according to the Incoterms rule named on the invoice. Payment is by wire transfer — deposit with order, balance before shipment on first programmes, terms for repeat orders agreed in the quotation.
Quality documents. Every set passes the outbound leak gate and every batch ships with its report: vacuum-decay and flow records, helium verification, cycle and soak results, material certificates and the compliance declarations. Interface dimensions are checked against the OCP UQD specification Rev 1.0 — the 100 psi working / 300 psi burst floors, the 5000-mate-cycle endurance floor and the per-size leak limits quoted on this site are the OCP floors our parts are built to meet, stated as specification values rather than as deviations. Claims for defect or shortage are made in writing against the batch number on the carton label, and warranty for any programme is the warranty stated on that programme's quotation.
Compliance. Bodies are machined in 316L stainless steel or brass. For RoHS, machined copper alloys fall under the lead-in-copper exemption 6/c (up to 4% lead); our purchasing practice for brass stock is lead content at or below 2.2%. For REACH, machined metal parts are supplied as articles with a declaration of compliance, and any substance of very high concern above 0.1% w/w triggers the Article 33 supply-chain communication. Declarations ship with the order documents and re-issued copies are available on request.
Website content and your drawings. Drawings, port maps and bore designs sent to us are treated as your confidential property; we use them to quote and build, sign NDAs on request, and never publish them. Everything on this site — specifications, test descriptions, representative configurations — is provided in good faith for engineering evaluation; typical-class values are labelled as such, and the quotation overrides the website wherever the two differ. The governing language of any order is English.
