Blind mating is a tolerance game — compensation wins it.

In a GPU rack, the manifold is bolted to structure while the cold plate floats on the board, so assembly misalignment lands entirely on the coupling. A blind-mate UQDB closes that gap without guide pins in your chassis: the socket leads the plug, centers it radially, seats both valves and locks without a latch — one push per tray, no threaded fitting to chase.

How is UQDB different from UQ04?
UQDB describes the interface form — blind-mate, latch-free, self-aligning. UQ04 describes a size class — the dash-04 (1/4") OCP tier with Cv 0.80 minimum and 1.7 GPM rated flow. The two are orthogonal: a UQDB04 is both blind-mate and dash-04. Pick UQDB where trays mate into a fixed plane, hand-push UQD for cold-plate service loops.
Which seal compound should I order?
EPDM is standard and covers water/glycol loops from -40 to +120 °C. FKM extends to -15…+200 °C for warm-process loops; FVMQ reaches -55…+155 °C for cold-aisle starts. All compounds are qualified against glycol coolants such as DOWFROST LC 25 and JEFFCOOL ISF-25.
Will DryLink UQDB mate with other brands?
Yes — UQD/UQDB is an open OCP interface (Rev 1.0, published 2020). Compliant plugs and sockets interchange across vendors, and an Intel-led consortium now standardizes cross-brand mating durability. DryLink sets are gauged against the Rev 1.0 envelope before packing.
What is the MOQ and sample lead time?
MOQ starts at 50 pieces per SKU. A drawing or photo is enough to quote — response within 48 hours. Standard sets ship in 15 days; custom configurations run 30–45 days after drawing approval.
