DryLink makes OCP UQD quick disconnects and liquid-cooling manifolds — the small pressure vessels every GPU loop depends on. Machining, sealing and automated assembly run as one production line, so the valve seat, the seal and the thread are owned by one process instead of three suppliers, and every set leaves with its test record in the box.

How the Line Came Together

Six stages, no filler.

DryLink's history is easier to explain as stages of capability than as a timeline of press releases — each stage exists because the loop demanded it.

Founding — machining & seals

DryLink began as a precision machining and sealing workshop for fluid systems. The parts most suppliers farmed out — valve seats, seal seats, threaded ends — were exactly the parts kept in-house, ground to a ±0.01 mm seating tolerance from the start.

Line integration

The three disciplines moved onto one line: CNC machining, seal kitting and torque-controlled assembly in a single cell. When one process owns valve, seal and thread, tolerance stack-ups get argued out on the shop floor, not between vendors.

Standard alignment

The OCP UQD specification Rev 1.0 — published in September 2020 through an Intel-led effort — became the design baseline: 100 psi working pressure, 300 psi burst floor, 5000 mate cycles and a 0.025 ml spill budget in the dash-04 class.

Test capacity in-house

Helium mass-spectrometry benches with 5×10⁻¹² mbar·l/s detector-class sensitivity, 100% vacuum-decay gates and an ISO 4406 particle-count lab came in-house — a release decision no longer waits on an outside laboratory.

Global delivery

Exports moved onto FOB, CIF and DDP terms with MOQ from 50 pieces and 15-day dispatch on standard sets. Loop parts started arriving with leak reports and material certificates attached, not with promises.

Custom manifolds from DN03 to DN10 run on the same cell behind a 48-hour DFM review — so the standard catalogue and the bespoke rack build share one line, one test bench and one report format.

Rack programmes at GPU density

Liquid-cooled AI servers jumped from 15% of shipments in 2024 to 54% in 2025 and a projected 76% in 2026. Rack builds need UQDB blind-mate sets and manifolds that clear the OCP floors on every batch, not just the golden sample.

CDU & Server OEMs

Loop builders under a ΔP budget

In-rack CDUs span 15–125 kW, and the manifold's job is to stay inside the LBNL 1/40 pressure-drop budget while the loop around it keeps changing. OEM programmes use our configurable ports and engineer-to-order cells.

HPC & Supercomputing

Warm-water loops, megawatt scale

Direct liquid cooling now decides the Green500 — the JEDI module topped the list in November 2024 on an all-direct-liquid design. Warm-water free-cooling loops put couplings and seals at temperatures NBR never sees; our EPDM class runs -40 to +120°C.

Energy Storage & Industry

Packs, inverters and process loops

Liquid cooling for stationary battery storage is growing at a 23.1% CAGR, and holding cell temperature spread near ≤3°C is won or lost at the fittings that make packs serviceable. Hand-push UQD sets keep that maintenance one-handed and drip-free.
