Ordering questions, answered with numbers.

Most of what buyers ask is arithmetic: how many, how fast, which terms, what papers. Our standing answers — MOQ from 50 pieces, quotes in 48 hours, standard sets in 15 days, custom manifolds in 30–45 — are laid out below, with the process and the paperwork that go with them.

How an Order Runs

From drawing to door in six steps.

The same sequence runs for a 50-piece sample and a rack-scale programme — only the quantities and the calendar change.

Send the drawing

PDF plus STEP/IGES if you have them — photos are enough to start on standard sets. Include flow per branch, coolant and temperature range; we confirm interface sizes in writing. Your part: the current revision and target quantities.

Quote in 48 hours

Priced by size class and quantity, with lead time and test scope stated on the document. Standard coupling MOQ is 50 pieces; custom manifolds quote per drawing behind the 48-hour DFM review.

Sample or pilot batch

Samples run in the same 15-day window as production, with the same leak, flow and cleanliness records attached — so the set you validate is the set you buy, not a hand-picked golden sample.

Pilot sign-off

Your incoming inspection audits the batch report against your own criteria. Any change freezes a new drawing revision before production — no silent substitutions between sample and batch.

Batch production

Standard sets dispatch in 15 days; custom manifolds in 30–45 after drawing freeze. Every set passes the 100% vacuum-decay gate and the batch carries helium verification, cycle and soak records.

Ship FOB / CIF / DDP

Your forwarder collects on FOB; we book carriage on CIF and DDP. Documents travel with the shipment and the compiled batch report rides inside the carton, last thing in before the tape.

Grouped the way enquiries arrive: what it is, how fast it ships, how it is paid for, and what happens to your drawings.

What is the difference between UQDB and UQ04?
They answer different questions. UQDB is an interface form — blind-mate, latch-free, self-aligning. UQ04 is a size class — the dash-04, 1/4" OCP UQD with a minimum Cv of 0.80 and 1.7 GPM rated flow. UQDB also exists in the 04 size, so you can specify blind-mate, hand-push or both.
Which OCP UQD sizes do you cover?
All four — UQD02, 04, 06 and 08 (1/8" to 1/2"), with minimum Cv of 0.25, 0.80, 1.60 and 2.50 and rated flows of 0.55, 1.7, 3.0 and 4.7 GPM respectively, per the OCP UQD specification Rev 1.0.
Will DryLink couplings mate with other UQD brands?
The interface is the OCP open standard, designed for cross-brand interchange, and batches are checked against interface dimensions before shipment. For mixed fleets we recommend a mating verification on samples — send one of your existing couplings and we return it with a fit report.
What materials and seals can I specify?
Bodies in 316L stainless or brass. EPDM seals are standard (-40 to +120°C, glycol-compatible), with FKM (-15 to +200°C) and FVMQ (-55 to +155°C) options where coolant or temperature demands it.
What is your MOQ?
50 pieces for standard coupling sets. Custom manifolds are quoted per drawing — the MOQ follows the port map and material, not a fixed floor.
How fast do standard sets ship?
15 days from order confirmation for standard UQDB and UQ04 sets at MOQ 50. The window includes the full test sequence and documentation pack — nothing ships untested to meet a date.
How long do custom manifolds take?
30–45 days after the drawing freezes and the 48-hour DFM review is signed off. Port count, bore class (DN03 to DN10) and test scope drive the estimate in your quotation.
Do you provide samples?
Yes — sample batches run in the same 15-day window as production and carry the same leak, flow and cleanliness records, so what you validate is what you buy.
Which trade terms do you support?
FOB, CIF and DDP. On CIF the cargo is insured at 110% of invoice value under ICC(C) clauses; on DDP goods arrive duty-paid at your door. EXW can be arranged for consolidators.
What are your payment terms?
Wire transfer (T/T) is standard; first orders typically confirm with a deposit and balance before shipment. Terms for repeat programmes are agreed in your quotation.
How are the couplings packed?
Individually at 10×10×5 cm and about 0.2 kg per set, foam-protected and serial-labelled, then cartoned for export. Manifolds ship tray-packed with port caps in place.
Where do orders ship from?
Shenzhen, China. On FOB terms your forwarder collects; on CIF or DDP we book the carriage and share documents before the vessel sails.
What do you need for a custom manifold quote?
A drawing with the port map, plus flow per branch, coolant, temperature range and target pressure drop. The LBNL budget — manifold supply plus return under 1/40 of the IT loop drop — is a good number to write on the drawing.
Which drawing formats do you accept?
PDF for revision control plus STEP or IGES for geometry. If your port map lives in a spreadsheet, send it — the 48-hour DFM review flags anything ambiguous before quoting.
What documents ship with the order?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of conformance, with the batch report — leak values, flow check, cleanliness code, material certificates and RoHS/REACH declarations — packed inside the carton.
Can you work under NDA for OEM programmes?
Yes — custom port maps and bore designs are treated as confidential engineering data, and an NDA can be signed before drawings move.
